Who we are
Samajik Sodh Sansthan is a non-governmental organization formed for the betterment and upliftment of the weaker and vulnerable section of society.
The Sansthan is an Indian Research Institute for the social sciences and humanities. It focuses on studying the changing pattern of human behavior in all respects and fields.
We believe firmly in Gyan Sandhan (search of knowledge) and are committed to working for the weaker sections of society. We pursue the open exchange of ideas and stand for a more equal and just society.
The Sansthan’s quest is about the ‘pursuit of happiness,’ applying its Sanatan Methodology to achieve it.
The Sanatan Methodology:
- Believe in Dhyana, as per Buddha’s philosophy.
- Believe in Darshanam, inherited from Hindu traditions of worship.
- Believe in Mythos, meaning self-truth, dependent on the first two steps.
The Sansthan promotes scientific temper and reason among people and has strong faith in the Indian Constitution.
Dr. Ram Pratap Yadav
Dr. Ram Pratap Yadav is the founder president of the Sanstha and oversees all programs. A social activist, participatory trainer, and passionate teacher, he holds a Ph.D. in Political Science, M.Phil in Social Science, M.A. in Political Science, M.A. in Linguistics, NET qualification, and a Diploma in Business Administration.
His experiences include:
- Columnist and correspondent with Raj Samaj, a monthly Hindi magazine.
- District Coordinator at Rajiv Gandhi Mahila Vikas Pariyojana, Raebareily (Unnao district).
- Convener of NAPM’s “Desh Bachao, Desh Banao Rally,” Lucknow (2003).
- Secretary of PUCL, Lucknow unit.
- Association with Asha for Education.
- Social Scientist at Tikamgarh under ICEF Project with Vikalp Org.
- Faculty, Political Science, Guru Ghasidas Central University, Bilaspur.
- Guest Lecturer, Political Science, Evening Faculty, Lucknow University.
- Visiting Fellow, Surya School of Planning & Engineering Management, Lucknow.
- Visiting Fellow, Aijaj Rizvi College of Mass Communication, Lucknow.

Dr. Ram Pratap Yadav
